Codice di licenza per Bosch e-bike – Generazione 1–4

Licence Code for Bosch eBike – Generation 1–4

Do you want to configure the speed of your Bosch eBike Gen 1–4 without a chip, without a workshop and without waiting? The Velocodix licence code removes the assistance limit via software, directly.

There is no physical component to install, nothing to dismantle, and none of the risks typical of tuning chips — system errors, contact problems, malfunctions. On recent Bosch motors, the chip fitted on the sensor is in fact the most common cause of error 504.

How it works

Instead of hardware to fit on the bike, you receive a personal digital licence code by e-mail, usually within a few minutes of your purchase.

  1. Connect the eBike to your PC or laptop with a Micro-USB data cable (not a charge-only one: that is the most frequent mistake)
  2. Open the activation tool indicated in the guide you receive together with the code, from a compatible browser — Chrome or Edge, on Windows or macOS
  3. Enter the code and establish the connection with the bike
  4. Proceed with the configuration: about 5 minutes in total

The limit can be reactivated at any time by following the same procedure, just as easily. Velocodix technical support follows you by e-mail until the procedure is complete.

What is included

  • Removal of the assistance limit — the speed you can reach then depends on the motor, the gearing and the tyres fitted
  • No hardware installation — no fitting, no mechanical work, no risk of faulty components
  • Immediate delivery — code by e-mail, no shipping time
  • Simple application — web tool and Micro-USB data cable, about 5 minutes
  • Compatibility — Bosch eBike systems from generation 1 to 4
  • Step-by-step guide and technical support included

Compatibility

The code works with Bosch eBike Gen 1, 2, 3 and 4 systems: Classic Line, Active Line, Performance Line, Performance Line CX and Cargo Line motors from the generations before the Smart System. Typical displays: first-generation Intuvia, Purion, Kiox, Nyon, connected via Micro-USB cable. The reference app is eBike Connect.

Important: the code is not compatible with the Bosch Smart System (BES3). If your bike uses the eBike Flow app, or has the power button and LEDs built into the top tube of the frame, you have a Smart System and you need the code dedicated to that platform.

Not sure? Read Gen 1–4 vs Smart System BES3: you can tell them apart in five seconds.

Important information, stated plainly

The display shows half the speed. After the configuration, when the speedometer reads 25 km/h the real speed is about double. The same applies to the distance covered. For an accurate reading it is best to use a GPS app.

Type approval. The configuration means losing road-use type approval. Use is permitted exclusively on private property, or in countries where no restrictions on the matter exist. Details in our legal information.

Warranty. The manufacturer's warranty and service rights may lapse. Use is entirely at your own responsibility.

Safety. At high speeds, wear suitable protective gear.

Returns. As this is a digital product delivered immediately, it is excluded from the right of withdrawal: it is not refundable after delivery. That is why we prefer to check compatibility with you before you buy.

Do you have a Bosch Smart System instead (eBike Flow app, button in the frame)? Then you need the BES3 code, not this one. If in doubt, write to us at info@velocodix.it with a photo of your display before you buy: the digital code is not refundable after delivery. Speed configuration is intended for use on private property.
