ZT3 series: the special case
The ZT3 series brings improved integrated suspension, hydraulic brakes and a higher-level build. It is also the only series where the configuration requires a check beforehand, and that's worth saying straight away.
On the ZT3, compatibility depends on the Vehicle Controller firmware version and does not follow a progressive order: one version may work, the next may not, and the one after that may work again. Before buying anything, check your version (Segway-Ninebot app → Settings → Device information) and send it to us: the check is free. Details: ZT3 Pro: speed configuration and firmware table.
How to identify your model
- Check the label under the deck (serial number)
- Open the Segway-Ninebot app: the exact model appears on the main screen
- The serial number starts with the model code (G30, G2, F2, F3, G3, ZT3)
Opening the app to read the model isn't a problem. What you must not do is accept the update when the app offers it.
Digital configuration: how it works
- You buy the license key
- You receive the code and the guide by e-mail, usually within a few minutes
- You connect the scooter via Bluetooth
- You follow the guide: about 5 minutes
No hardware modification, no disassembly, no controller replacement.
Segway Ninebot code — Velocodix
A single code for the whole range: MAX G2, G30, F2, F3, G3, G3D and the ZT3 series. Bluetooth activation in about 5 minutes, delivery by e-mail, step-by-step guide and technical support included.
Rule number one: no updates from the Segway-Ninebot app, either before or after activation. Do you have a ZT3 series? Write to us at info@velocodix.it with your Vehicle Controller firmware version before buying. The digital code is not refundable once delivered. For use on private or authorised areas.
In short
From the MAX G30 to the G3D, the Segway Ninebot range covers very different needs: distance, light weight or pure performance.
When it comes to configuration the rule is simple: on all models you can go ahead directly, on the ZT3 you check first. And on all of them, without exception, no updates from the official app.
